Paint container

The yellow background is actually the leftover paint by simply dabbing the span on the surrouding rather than wash the span with color away. ( Good idea to save paint)

This is the paint I am using. I just want to finish my color and bored with the label. So, I tear the label out and trace a doily on it with my leftover paint.

Container

Second time of modify this plastic container after decoupage the lid. Isn't it look more shabby even with empty container.

I just add a square box at the center of the container as it looked very empty. Firsty, I used tape to make a border to paint the base white before decoupage the rose on it. Tips : Do not throw away any bits of tissue as it might be useful in some way!

I think I have posted the lid decoupage last time.

Bottle

Bottle again for a lazy people like me.

Close up look of this bottle. Firstly, painted the logo white ( if you are as lazy as me, save the trouble to take out the logo). Then, decoupaged the rose on the logo. Maybe I should decourated the surrouding with marker paint or others decoration. Any suggestions ?

Bottle

Wine bottle again. I decoupaged the whole piece to the bottle and tried to do cracking on the top part. But, I was not satisfied with the crack effect, too small and not even.Anyone can help or comment on this ?

The closer look of the tissue. The first experience of using a black background of tissue as I usually prefer a shabby look. The effect is not bad!

Another side of the tissue.

A mexican feel of this bottle.

bird house

A birdhouse

The close up view. The original color the the birdhouse was orange, i lightly painted white stripe on it .

The side view of the birdhouse. I painted a round doily and decoupaged flowers as the centre

The front view of the bird house. It was displayed out the garden and the paint was faded,so i painted it lightly with some white

The word GARDEN is made from gluing tree branch stick and sea shell

Full view of the birdhouse, I added the cross stick to make it stand up.

Wine bottle

The front view of the wine bottle. This is a very special blue wine bottle that I decide to keep the original look of the bottle without repaint the whole piece. I just take the short by decoupage little rose to turn the wine bottle to a shabby look.

The far view of the whole bottle.

The front label. The label is quite unique. I just add a rose as the centre piece.

Too lazy to paint the whole bottle. So just paint white on the label to erase the words. Then, decoupage the rose on the white label. It turns out quite nice for a lazy work.

Vase

How to you like this new vase? Decoupage is really like a magic wand that turns any trash to treasure....don you agree ?

AFTER : First attempt to use two totally contrast design to decoupage as the first black stripe is too dark. Roses design is added to soften the dark background.

Tin

The close-up look of this rose pattern matched with another piece of tissue red border that turns out quite matching!!

Now, after the makeover, it looks so sweet that I decide to keep it indoor.

This is originally a rusty can that I use as a pot for the plant. It was left at the doorside unattended for some time.
